Difficulty making credit card payment

    I have had problems with employment since 17th June this year when I left John Lewis. They didn't make the correct final payment to me when I left and this is still an outstanding issue.

    I have had one month's temporary work since 8th September and now eligible for Universal Credit, but do not receive a payment until 23 October. Can any measures be put in place to stop me defaulting on my card in the meantime?

    I will make a payment as soon as I receive my UC payment

    I'm hearing impaired which is why I prefer not to telephone.
