As a result, Online and Mobile Banking is unavailable to customers from 8pm on Saturday 22nd until approximately 6.30am on Sunday 23rd. I've applied for a Tesco Bank Credit Card - what happens next?

We’ll tell you if you’ve been accepted or declined when you apply. If we need any additional information before opening your account, we’ll get in touch within 5 working days.

Once you’ve been approved;

  1. You’ll get your PIN first. It’s sent separately to your Card.
  2. You’ll also get your card together with a welcome booklet and terms and credit agreement within 5-7 working days. If you don’t have these after 7 days, please contact us.
  3. Activate your card using our Mobile App to start spending. Once you’ve done, this any balance transfer request will be processed. Any additional cardholders on your account will automatically be activated too.
