How do I move money out of Internet Saver with the App?

  • CB's Avatar
I have just opened an Internet saver account. Anyone know how to move money out of this account via the Mobile App? On the App it only gives option to save more (put money in), but not take money out. I can do this on the normal web site, but can't see how to do this on the App... Which is supposed to let me "move money between my accounts." Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi, Today the app shows the Move Money icon and works, so sorted. Thanks all!

    Hi CB,

When viewing your Internet Saver account on the App, you should have a "Move Money" icon at the bottom right.
Clicking this, will display a "Payments" icon that you should also click on.

This is where you can add a new payee that you can use to send money out of your internet saver to any UK Bank Account.

If you do not have the Move Money icon and your account is definately an Internet Saver, you should contact our Online Banking team 24/7 on 0345 300 3511, and they should be able to help you further.

Thanks Robert. It definitely just says "Save now!" At the bottom right, where for my current account it says " Move money". I will give you guys a call as you suggest. Thanks.

Hi this can happen if the application process is still ongoing. If the option to "move money" doesn't appear within the next couple of days, then you can give us a call on the number Robert provided :)

Thanks . I linked my Tesco current account when I opened the Internet saver and have a DD set up between the two. I can see on this on the web site version of my account just not the app. I am waiting to see if I am going to be posted something to sign and rtn to see whether I perhaps haven't fully completed account opening., but at the moment I can only save on the app not spend. On hols at moment so will sort when back and let you know. Thanks again.
