Hi all, a few weeks ago I changed the vehicle on my insurance. I paid £450 upfront for the year. Today I had a monthly payment come out of my bank account. When I spoke to them confused because I've paid for the year, they said this amount was just for making changes. Does this seem right to anyone? When I went on compare the market, most quotes were about this price including tesco themselves so where does it seem right that I have paid over £450 upfront and now have to continue to make £40 monthly payments until September?
    thank you!

@rubberduck80 Hey there, thanks for getting in touch!

When you make a mid-term change you are given the option of paying the additional premium by card or spreading it over your remaining instalments. If you choose to pay by card, your remaining instalments will still be collected as normal.

If you made the change online this is outlined before you can accept the quote.
