Hello,

If my full balance was £5000 for the month and I made a one off payment of £3000 in advance of the full balance DD, would the DD be automatically reduced to £2000?

If you make the £3000 payment in advance of the direct debit process starting then the direct debit (the process takes at least 3 working days) would automatically take the remaining balance, in this case £2000 assuming you've got your direct debit set up to pay the full outstanding balance.

Hey @Gazzamit, thanks for your message As @25H has said above, provided the payment clears before we take the direct debit for the full balance, the amount would be adjusted to reflect the lower balance. I hope this clarifies things for you.
