How long does it take for funds to appear in my Tesco Junior ISA when transferring from another provider.
Previous provider has advised funds have been transferred and account closed, but still have zero balance in Tesco account.

    Hi @nlstephen

A Transfer Authority form is completed by the Registered Contact.
When Tesco receive the completed form they contact your existing Junior ISA provider within 5 business days.
The transfer should be completed within 15 business days of Tesco receiving the completed form.
Tesco start paying interest after receiving the funds from the existing Junior ISA provider or 16 business days after receipt of the completed form, whichever is earlier.

You could send Tesco Bank a private message from here and ask them to look into this for you.

Please include your full name, date of birth and postcode.

Complete it, click 'Submit Message' and this will send your message securely and privately.

Hi @Beagle1312 . Thanks for your query. As you probably already know, you cannot withdraw/transfer funds until the child turns 18. A transfer takes up to 15 working days and the other bank will pay interest if it takes longer than that. You may wish to give our Savings team a call on 0345 678 5678 (Mon - Fri: 8am - 8pm, Sat - Sun: 9am - 3pm) and speak with one of the team before you go ahead with that.

If you transfer money out of the Tesco Junior Cash ISA to another bank do Tesco pay the interest due or do you lose any interest due to date that year?
