Closure of my Instant Saver Account

    I live in Spain and my Instant access Saver account has been closed today. I understand that Tesco will send me letters and a cheque for the balance by (they say) 17 December.
    As paying in a cheque to a UK bank will create a further delay in accessing these funds, can I:-
    a. Pay this cheque directly into my Spanish bank account, or,
    b. Have the balance paid by bank transfer directly into my UK HSBC account now?

    Hi @WendyA

    Tesco will send your cheque to the address they have on file for you.
    Once you get your cheque it can be paid into any account you have by you or someone else.
    It may be too laye now to have the balance transferred directly to your HSBC account.

    I would suggest you send Tesco Bank a private message from here and ask them.

    Please include your full name, date of birth and postcode along with your message.

    Complete it, click 'Submit Message' and this will send your message securely and privately.

    You will receive a reply to your private message.
