Cannot raise limit

    I have requested to raise my limit higher than £1,100. I have had this account for years and have never requested to change it before. My credit score is also excellent. I did this on the website, and despite my high salary, I got the message "We can’t increase your credit limit. You currently have the maximum credit limit we can offer you, so we can’t increase it at the moment".

    Is £1,100 the highest limit? I have always met payments without fail so cannot see why they can't offer me more than £1,100 limit...!

    I'm really sorry to hear Tesco can't increase your limit and I understand your disappointment.
    It seems you've not received an explanation.

    I would suggest you send Tesco Bank a private message from here and see if they can look into this for you to provide you with a reason for this.
