Since the 6 of April my wife cannot access tesco mobile banking app getting error message GEN-01 on my wife’s ipad but my own Pad is ok, both iPads same IOS version and same app Version so I am suspecting problem with app as quite a lot of people are complaining of same thing since 6 of April. When you read the information on about the app the App Store it tells you under Compatibility it states and I quote “ Works on this Ipad “. So definitely a problem with the app so can we get it fixed instead of fobbing us off.

I also have this problem. It works on my iPhone by not iPad. Tesco Banking helpdesk were unaware of the issue.

I was told yesterday that they are fixing it. It appears that the App was for phones and not designed for tablets. An upgrade caused the issue. I was informed we may get a text or Email about it.

As can be seen from screen shot below of Tesco Bank App on Apple App Store it states it is compatible with Ipad
