    Hello,

    my credit limit was reduce from £2400 to £350 in July 2021, there was no reason for this, I have never missed a payment despite asking on the banking app several times for an increase they still will not increase it over £350? Why is this? (Fyi my credit score is good so shouldn’t have anything to do with that)

    Hi @Evie98, thanks for getting in touch. As a responsible lender we regularly review our customers’ credit limits to ensure those limits are appropriate for their circumstances. If information obtained from our internal checks, along with information obtained from credit reference agencies, suggest that the limit is no longer suitable then it’s subject to reduction.

    Did you receive a letter around the time of the decrease with more information surrounding this? Please send us over a private message to @Tesco-Bank and we'll be able to take a closer look into this for you.

    Hello;

    Thank you, whilst I understand my limit was dropped down I’m more concerned that after 11 months, a pay rise and credit score increases I still cannot get a limit increase above £350 is not substantially enough to be able to use for anything and therefore I will have to close my account soon and go somewhere else unfortunately if this doesn’t change soon

Need some help?
