It has become impossible to transfer funds from another Junior Cash ISA provider into Tesco Junior Cash ISA. Having set up the account, Tesco Bank wanted more information (already given on the forms). This information was given over the phone. I then got a letter saying the funds could not be transferred because the amount had changed in the original account!
All I can think of as a solution is to close the Tesco account and start again. I will cancel the standing order paying into the original ISA, so the funds don't change by the time this lengthy and frustrating process is worked through.
I hope I can sort this before my child turns 18 (he's 5 at the moment).
