Hi, I see a red dot against the icon of my Tesco bank account on my Android phone and yet when I open the app to try to find out what it's for there is nothing to explain it. I understand that it is is supposed to be a notification indication but I just cannot find anything to which it could relate.

Hi @Ejohnh, I'm not sure why that would be. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Mobile App?

Hi, unfortunately no. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app but the red dot remains there

Further: The application shows the same red dot on my android phone, Ipad, and desktop PC.

Any ideas?

@Ejohnh The dot next to your app icon is for a notification, and can be anything from a request to authorise a transaction, to a transaction alert you may have switched on yourself. The red dot you're seeing when logged into the website is actually just a stylised full stop after the word 'Hello'. This red dot isn't indicative of anything on your account. I hope this helps!

Yes, I assumed it was to indicate a notification but for the life of me I cannot find any notifications and so cannot acknowledge the same to cancel the alert. John
