Hi all,

I’m trying to install the banking app on a second device, according to my search this is allowed.

• Install the app on your second phone and sign in with your Tesco account details.
• You'll be asked for an authentication code.
• Open the app on your original phone and head to the "My Phones" section in the Settings menu.
• Tap the “Add” button and then tap “Get Code”
• Enter this code in your 2nd phone and you're good to go.

My issue is, I don’t have a “My Phones” section in my app settings, so I can’t add or get a code. Is the above info still valid? And if so, where am I going wrong?

Ok so for anyone in the same boat, instead of trying to Add another device, you should just go to New Device Transfer as if you’re upgrading your phone, follow the instructions for transferring to a new device, but don’t delete the app from the original one.
I’ve tried this and it seems to be working fine. The Tesco Bank instructions could do with updating as there is no longer a “My Phones” section of the app settings.

Hi @hookanya, thanks for getting in touch. Have you tried logging in with your original security number and password or have you forgotten these details?

No I have those details, I’ve noticed recently I have to enter them when logging into the app each time when previously I’ve just got in with face recognition. I assumed it was a tightening up of security.
