Disgusted with admin fee

    There is no option online to cancel your insurance so you have to call. I was in the queue for over 10 mins and i was then with the agent for 2 and that cost me £40 admin fee. Sorry when my other cars come up for renewal it will not be with Tesco

    Hi @dth, I'm sorry you feel this way. When a Car Insurance policy is cancelled mid-term, we charge a standard cancellation fee of £40 unless you are cancelling within the first 14 days.

    The only ways to cancel your policy mid-term is by calling our Customer Services team on 0345 246 2895 (Mon - Fri: 8am-8pm, Sat&Sun: 9am-2pm) or by writing to us at Freepost RSJB-RZZY-HTJB Tesco Bank Customer Service, P O Box 276, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE12 2BT. I'm afraid there is no option to cancel your policy online via Your Insurance Account.
