Hi i clicked on my tesco bank app and it said o had to re register even though I’ve had the app for years! I went to re register but clicked the forgot username but it couldn’t find me! Is the app down at the moment

@Weeanniep10 same happened to me this morning ... hoping it is an issue with the App as I don't think I can remember by username etc.

Hi @Weeanniep10 and @janethiggs1959, thanks for getting in touch. Sometimes you may need to log back in using your username, security number and password after the app has been updated. Is it not recognising your personal details when you follow the forgotten username steps?

@RobbieT I did eventually get back in yesterday but it’s asking for me to register again today! I’ve never had to log in after any updates so this is strange 2 days in a row, hoping it’s a glitch in the system

This is happening to me on a daily basis. The app says for "safety reasons" I need to reregister. I contacted Tescos support via Twitter and they implied that it was a fault they are looking into.

Hi all, we're now aware of an issue affecting some iOS customers on the Mobile App. Following a recent iOS update, the app isn't saving users Face ID or Touch ID preferences and asks the user to login from the beginning using their 6-digit security number and password. Provided you know these details, you'll still be able to login. However, I appreciate this is a longer process than usual to access your account. Our technical team are aware of the issue and hope to have a fix in place soon. Apologies for any inconvenience caused by this.

@RobbieT Hope you are quick with a fix I have to log in continuously., very annoying especially when you are in Tescos and you need to check if you have enough money in your account to pay for shopping and then find the app is logged out, you need to be Einstein to remember all login details.

This app is really testing my patience. Asking me to re register after I just did a few minutes ago.

I get this problem every few days!

All Tesco 'techinal help' do is tell me to delete the app, turn off iphone, turn on iphone, re install the app, wait 1/2 hours and then see if it works!

Guess what, nothing changes!

it started last year and it happens every few days sometimes more often, and they are clueless!
