I'm new to the forum and hope someone can help, as I can't see anything about a section 75 on Tesco Credit card help pages.

My husband bought a Virgin Experience Days gift voucher for me. We used it for a hotel stay in the Cotswolds that was on the Virgin Experience Days list.
The hotel room was not as advertised and looked nothing like the photos on the hotel website.

We complained to the hotel who offered us a free return stay, which unsurprisingly we declined. The hotel manager said we should contact Virgin and explain the situation
He said Virgin would contact him and he would agree to a refund. We did this and 5 weeks later we still have no refund or an alternative voucher. So my question is, can we claim a section 75 refund? I have searched in vain for an answer, but because we paid for our hotel stay with the Virgin voucher it's not clear if we can claim the section 75 refund.
