I used Google pay yesterday in a tesco store but afterwards discovered that it doesn't give you discounts or points, you actually have to physically swipe your clubcard or credit card to earn your points which defeats the purpose somewhat.

@Garybaldie You'd need to tap your Clubcard separately to receive Clubcard points/discounts. This is because Google do not recognise the Clubcard scheme. I'm really sorry for any inconvenience this causes.

Credit card customer and I haven't been available to add the card to GPay. Always says the bank has refused the request. Shame.

@TheLemon Good morning! Thanks for getting in touch. Are you getting sent out an activation code when trying to add the credit card to the wallet? If you are receiving the activation code and it is still refusing the attempt or if you are not receiving the code at all, I would contact us on the number below so we can assist in adding Google pay for you ?

I had problems with Google Pay at first, but now everything works great. Sometimes it happens that not all stores accept it, but there are not many of them.
