Fixed Rate Saver Account

    I opened a Fixed rate saver account last week, I have received a txt asking me to return completed paperwork regarding this account, as yet I have not received any paperwork ?
    I am also a little apprehensive to transfer a large-ish sum of money from my current account into the Tesco Fixed saver account without any re assurance, also my bank cannot verify the Tesco account, I have made numerous attempts to get in touch with customer services via phone but have just been kept waiting for nearly an hour each time so eventually have given up.
    I have seen a few questions on here regarding the same problem but I am starting to lose the confidence to transfer my hard earned cash over when I can't even speak with anyone about the transfer.

    Can anyone point me in the right direction for some assistance or re assure me that my money will be safe if I complete the transfer ?

    Thanks to those of you who replied.
    Managed to speak to a Customer Adviser on the phone, eventually sent funds via cheque, balance showed on account within days, everything appears to be normal and running smoothly.

    Would have felt a little more confident about doing this if I could have deposited a small amount in the Saver account just to check it went in ok but regs said only one transfer was allowed into the account, I know some customers sent £1 or £10 over first but the money wasn't showing in their accounts as the Tesco banking system was just set up to recognise funds transferred over a certain threshold.

    Eventually satisfied myself that this would be a safe transaction but think in future Tesco could do more to reassure their prospective customers.
