Hi,
So I took out a Tesco Fixed Rate Saver Account in June 2022, a 1 year term. It was a good rate at the time.
With current rates it is not looking good so I want to close it and look at better options.

Any other bank or institution would also withdrawals with a loss of interest but Tesco has stronger terms.
NO, you can’t take money out unless under exception terms such as death!

Surely this can’t be correct and legal, I must be able to access my money if I need it, with the consequence of losing interest or a charge!
How is this condition allowable?
How can I access my money?

If this is the case and Tesco have rights to deny access to customers money - please all thinking of using these account be aware.
