Blocking Transactions

    How can I block a company from taking further payments from my account?
    I recently had a payment taken from my account and I don’t know what the charge is for but it could be something to do with the account I set up. There is no way of contacting the support team to find out what the charge was for and I don’t really want to choose the fraud option on the Tesco helpline as it might not be fraudulent.
    Is there an email address so I can contact Tesco Bank?

    Hi @SallyJ, thanks for getting in touch. Is this a recurring transaction on a Credit Card account? Does it come out of your account every month, quarter or annually? If so then you can call our Credit Card team on 0345 300 4278 (Mon - Fri: 8am to 9pm, Sat - Sun: 8am - 6pm) and the advisor you speak to can arrange for that to be blocked going forward. We cannot put a stop on one-off transactions. You may also need to contact the company too and ask them to cancel the subscription - Kevin
