Hi, I'm looking to close some online savings accounts and opening new ones with Tesco for better interest rates. The ones to close will be closed before the interest is due. Where does the interest gained go if the account is closed?

I've seen the form to complete to request closure but it doesn't mention giving details for an account.

It's the basic online saver. I've realised there's a linked account which I assume will be used

I have the same question as Hayleystock, accept I have an Internet Saver Account.

If I completed the "Request to close your Savings Account" form and email to [email protected] will be interest due up until that date be paid to me?

If so, into which account will it be paid into?
