Opening a current account - not possible

    I am trying to open a new current account with tesco and am unable to even get passed the first stageI am being told that since I aborted an application - 2 days ago - I am blocked from applying now - unless I phone tescoThis, unfortunately is IMPOSSIBLE - I suffer from poor speech and do not speak on the phone due to a disabilityWhy is there NO email address for applicants to use in such circumstances ?

    Thanks for getting in touch and I'm sorry about the issues you've had trying to open an account with us. We don't have an email address to use for applications, but if you could send a private message to @NickJ and myself with your name, DOB and postcode, we can have a look into the application and see if there's anything we can do.

    When you send your details, please format the DOB and postcode with spaces between the characters, i.e. A B 1 2 C D.

    I too applied for a second current account some time back and I have heard nothing. When I try to re-apply it tells me I already have 2 accounts and yet the 2nd does not show on my account page and I have never recieved any paperwork./ Hepl!
