I cannot get passed entering the one time access code on my phone, I get the circle of doom when its trying to load the password page, what am I doing wrong?

You're not doing anything wrong, the app is broken since the last update and there are hundreds of other users (myself included) facing the same issue. Re-installing the app may work temporarily, but most people who have re-installed confirm that the same issue reappears again after a short time.
Tesco seem oblivious to this issue and the impact it is having on people who can't log on to check balances or, more importantly, authorise online payments. -
@ChristopherP have given up trying until tomorrow, lost count of uninstalling and re installing . Now everytime I reply to a thread I get something's gone wrong, I give up for today.
