If the statement is produced and there is a refund due, if the manual payment made plus the refund totals the statement balance will this be equivalent to paying the statement balance? If the statement balance had been paid them the card would have been out in credit after the refund was applied so I took off the refund and paid the difference. Will the system detect that the total equals the statement balance or do you have to actually click on pay statement balance? If the latter then I shall have to pay the whole card off now to bring it to zero to make sure no interest is applied.
