I placed an order for an item using my Tesco bank credit card. At the time of order (back in April) it was authorised, but the payment is only just being requested now because the item was released for sale this week. I’m getting payment failures from the retailer now and Tesco told me it’s because they’re not using the 3D Secure system? But it’s not a live transaction. It’s an online order and I’m not there to authorise the transaction using the app. I’ve not had requests from the app to authorise anything either.

Anyone else experienced this problem before with online orders?
