Authorise payment in advance

    Hello,

    I am paying my hotel bill at reception when I arrive and have not paid such a high amount before so presume it might ask for authorisation.

    Is there anyway I can notify in advance so that the authorisation does not come up when I check in?

    Hello @A62810, thanks for getting in touch 🙂 I'm afraid this isn't something we can do prior to a transaction being processed. Transactions may decline on occasions as a security measure. This may not happen with your transaction but keep your mobile phone on you because if it does decline initially, you would receive a text from us asking if the transaction that has just been attempted for x amount is a genuine transaction made by yourself. You would then respond with a 'Y' for yes and just give it a few minutes for us to receive that reply and update the account accordingly then try the transaction again and it would then go through.
