Hi All, hope you are well on this sunny Monday.
I was looking to open a fixed rate savings bond for 1 year, but it seems to say that I need another Tesco account first. (I don't have one)
That's not a problem in it's self, and I tried to open an internet basic saver to transfer the money from but it is asking me for my 'current account number'. Something Tesco got rid of a couple of years ago.
I'm no doubt missing something important here. I couldn't see T&Cs saying that I already needed to be a Tesco member to open a fixed rate savings bond, but even if it does, why can't I open a basic saver without supplying a number that doesn't exist?
Thanks for your time.
Yours, extremely confused,
V
