D/D for pet insurance cancelled and yet you have taken payment

    I received my pet insurance renewal for my dog, who I have never had to make a claim for, the hike was 50% greater than last year. I cancelled the direct debit with my bank, you wrote to me acknowledging the cancellation stating I would no longer be insured - fine by me. Now today a new direct debit has been requested for the higher amount. I do not want the policy so why have you taken money from my account. And why do you not have an email facility do that I can make contact with you to confirm my cancellation? Can an you provide me with an email address to do this please

    I’m very sorry to hear that we’ve taken a payment from your account. Unfortunately our pet insurance department doesn’t have an email address for you to cancel your policy.

    If you can please call 0345 0783872. Our UK-based contact centre is here to help. We are open Monday-Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am-5pm.
