Hi, I’m trying to make an opening deposit into my new savings account, however when I try to set it up in my banking app the account and sort code numbers are different to my savings account number, so my attempt fails because the numbers don’t match up, I’ve spoken to my bank and they say it’s my responsibility to ensure that the account number matches the recipient, I’m going round in circles, any advice?
