I applied, was approved for and digitally signed an agreement for a tesco loam yesterday. Although it was a bank holiday, I would have expected to receive at least an automated confirmation email and am now worried that it hasn't completed. I can however see the credit check on my report. Is this normal?
Should I have received a confirmation email after digitally signing a loan agreement

@SyTimmis Sorry to latch onto your thread but I applied yesterday and received nothing too....!
I've read they don't send emails out to confirm it, which seems a bit odd! -
I still haven't heard anything so I don't think it went through but I don't want to reapply in case it did go through 🤷♀️🤷♀️

Just a little update for all you lovelies that commented. The funds arrived in my account towards the end of the first working day after my application. At this point also I recieved an email confirming it was set up. I do think Tesco could do more with notifications, but aside from this I'm happy to say everything has been pretty smooth!

Just in case anyone searches for this in the future, I got the funds the day after posting on here. Maybe the bank holiday delayed it a day too.
However, I think Tesco Bank should consider sending an email out to confirm they've received the loan application and it will save a load of threads on here (and put people's minds at rest)Last edited by vjm6891; 25-04-24 at 09:19. Reason: Spelling error
