Credit card balance transfer ignored.

    Anyone know what I do? Anyone else had this happen? How do I stand on getting my now wrecked credit score sorted?

    Done a balance transfer from tesco credit card to another one it clearly shows online they received the money so had nothing due to be paid!

    So imagine my stomach sinking feeling at 4:30 am I check my bank and tesco credit card still took a large 4 figure amount making me overdrawn for 1st time in my life of almost 60 yrs.

    Also I paid a fee to other card provider for no reason now!

    Suggestions on what I do not like I can close my tesco account which is what I feel like doing when they have a large amount of my money sitting as a positive amount on card.

    I'm really sorry to hear about this. It sounds like we'd already presented for the Direct Debit which is why the payment has come out.

    If you call the Credit Card team, they'll look into this for you. You can reach them on 0345 300 4278 (Mon - Fri: 8am to 9pm, Sat - Sun: 8am - 6pm) and they'll be happy to help.

    To speak to one of my colleagues, please choose option 2 and enter your security details, then press 0. If you don't have any details to hand, just press 0 and you will then be passed through.
