Introducing loans confirmation emails

    From 28 May 2024, customers who apply for a Tesco Bank Loan will receive an email to confirm their application status once they’ve successfully completed their application.

    This applies to customers who make one of the following applications for a Tesco Bank Loan:

    • Sole Loan application
    • Additional Loan application
    • Replacement Loan application

    What’s changing when you apply for a loan?

    If you apply for a Tesco Bank Loan, you’ll now be sent one of the following emails when you complete your application:

    • Application Accepted
    • Application Complete
    • Application Referred
    • Application Accepted in Principle
    • Application Declined


    Please note, you won’t receive an email confirmation when applying for a loan in the following circumstances:

    • If you make a joint application
    • If you started your application online, but it timed out or you chose to continue your application over the phone
    • If you apply for a loan over the phone

    If you don’t receive a loans confirmation email when you should, please check your junk email folder and add us to your safe senders list. Emails will be sent from [email protected].
