Hi everyone,

The community is a place for anyone to get involved and there will always be a great mix of people here. To make sure everyone gets the most out of the community and feels good doing it, check out our tips and guidelines on how to be a great member.

If someone helps you out with advice, say thanks
It's lovely when members help each other here in the community. If someone solves your problem let them know, use the Like button to show appreciation or use the Verified Answer button.

The community is a public website, so be careful
We want to make sure you’re always safe online, especially when discussing financial information. This community is publicly accessible, so only share information here you’d be happy to share publicly in the real world. Be safe and secure online.

Be kind, respectful and supportive of others
We’re really proud at Tesco Bank that this community is a lovely place to spend time and chat with others - that’s because of all of you. But we all have bad days, and we ask that you always remember there is a real person on the receiving end of comments. Treat members here like you’d treat your friends in real life. That goes for the community team too.

It's a family-friendly community
The team and I run the community in the hope that anyone can use it, so whenever you write something, think to yourself, ‘would this make it into a PG movie?’ If not, probably best to leave it out of your post. This also goes for talking about anything illegal, for obvious reasons.

Permanent bans
We may permanently ban any users caught breaking these House Rules.
We can only offer support and moderation to posts written in English. Any posts written in another language may be removed.

If you’re in a specific section or discussion, try to stay on topic
There are a few different areas of the community, each with a different theme.

  • If you need help or want to help others, head to the Help and Support board.
  • If you have a suggestion, feedback or just want to chat to other members, head to the Off-topic board.
  • If you head into another member’s discussion thread, make sure you stick to the subject they want to talk about.
  • If you want to make your own discussion, simply create a post of your own.

One post is normally enough ?
