I posted a cheque on Thursday 27th June and the funds haven't reached my child's ISA account. Can it take this long to reach a bank account?

On average cheques take 2 business days to arrive, however, timescales may vary. If the cheque was made payable to your child named on the account and the sort code and account number were clearly written on the back, then we should have received it by now.

If you call the Savings team on 0345 678 5678 (Mon - Fri: 8am - 6pm, Sat - Sun: 9am - 2pm) they will be able to check this for you.
