After calling the loan department twice and checking several times during the call that the changes requested were correct, I have received a letter saying the wrong information!

I wanted to pay off a chunk of my loan to reduce the monthly payments but have received the letter today to say payment has been received but monthly payments will remain the same but duration of the loan is reduced.

THIS IS NOT WHAT WAS AGREED !!

I need to get this resolved and panicking that the request has been processed incorrectly.

has this happened to anyone else ??
