Scam showing money taken out when it should be refunded

    I have actually had TWO problems with this particular card:

    Despite a zero balance I was unable to pay for my train ticket nor later for lunch.

    However yesterday I was scammed - only £2 - but I rang them and they said it had been refunded,

    Except on my statement it shows both £2s in the OUT and presumably waiting to be paid side.

    I have tried ringing and either get someone who won't help or the phone is constantly on hold costing me a small fortune.

    Can anyone help?

    The fault is with Tesco as the 'refund' is showing in OUT

    I am truly getting fed up trying to contact Tesco on socmed as well as different phone numbers and the only time I got through the woman told me to try again as she couldn't help.

    Yes I know you are selling up to Barclays but your 'service' has all but disappeared and NO-ONE responds!

    I shall now be raising a complaint to the financial services ombudsman as this same card - with a zero balance - was declined for a train ticket and meal yet takes a scam payment TWICE!!!

    Refunds can sometimes take a while to appear in your account, depending on how the merchant sent it, but we'll also be able to check to see if we've received it yet.

    Thanks but I finally got through to a human who could or would help.

    Seems the declined card (despite a zero balance) was because it was an 'older style' and the refund was refunded but no idea why the two payments showed up in the OUT box..
