I signed up to Tesco Bank in June and received my Clubcard Pay+ Debit Card a few days later. Last week I received a replacement card, without warning or explanation, which has the exact same details as my original card just with a later (by two months) expiry date.

Is this normal? 🤔 Was there some reason why cards were being replaced? I know that it can't be anything to do with Barclays taking over the running of Tesco Bank as this has only just been approved and doesn't commence until the 1st of November.
