Hi

When I use my credit card online and go to approve the transaction in the app, as soon as I click authorise it closes and doesnt authorise the payment.

This happened before and I reinstalled the app and this sorted the issue. Ive tried that again this time but it hasnt helped.

Can you advise as I cant use my card online as it doesnt give you the option to send a code via SMS as an alternative.

I also had this same issue last night, I was trying to pay for my tesco supermarket shop and I couldn’t authorise the payment on my tesco bank app. I also tried re-installing the app, but that didn’t work for me either.

This happened to me too yesterday and again when I tried today. Deleting, reinstalling & allowing push notifications for online transactions worked for me

We're aware of this issue and apologise for any inconvenience this is causing.

In the meantime, can you disable passcode/touch/face id and login using your security number and password? I appreciate this isn't ideal, but some customers have reported that this has worked for them.

We are hoping to update on a permanent fix as soon as possible.

@adamrobinson85 We are rolling out an app update with a fix for this bug. As it's a phased roll out you should check the app store to see if your update is available for you to activate manually.

Otherwise, it will update automatically over the coming days.
