Unexpectedly I received and email from [email protected] telling me my Tesco CC is now added to Apple Pay. I did not request this action and dont have an Apple Mobile or PC so I tried to ring the number on the email (mistake) 0345 366 6643 to intervene. The response was unrecognised number.
I then went onto the genuine Tesco bank site and called their fraud line 0345 300 4278 and spoke to Carol. she couldn't investigate anything as it was weekend but said she would block the card and someone would contact me in 48hrs.
several hrs later I checked my Tesco Bank app and saw it wasnt blocked, (so I blocked it myself). I haven't had a call back yet.
Question, is [email protected] a genuine email contact from Tesco?
