New card not recognised

    Hi, I have tried to contact someone via phone but the options are not suitable to my question. I have recently received a new credit card (as mine was out of date), however when I tried to use it today the reader said card not recognised/supported. I also tried to insert the card and use the pin thinking that this may activate it from the first use. Please can you advise, thanks

    I’m sorry to hear the replacement card hasn’t worked for you and appreciate that you’ve tried the card both contactless and inserting the card in the reading machine.

    If we could ask you to attempt a transaction again, putting the card into the reader with your pin number, if that doesn’t work then we would need to get you a new card sent out if you could call Tesco Bank on 0345 300 4278 and a Customer Services Representative will arrange.
