Account balance error

    Hi
Every month our balance is paid in full by direct debit. This has happened for years no problem.

This month, £1200 should have been taken but only £200 has. We don’t have any large refunds and now the outstanding balance on our account is over £2000 with this month’s purchases.

Does anyone know why this has happened?

@AnnieN77 Hi Annie, thanks for getting in touch.

With the Previous Statement Direct Debit, it will always collect for the amount it needs to and so is most likely to amend itself to account for other payments received throughout the month.

Usually this is due to a refund, or another payment made by yourself but if you are unable to see anything like this then please contact our customer services and they can check things out in more detail. You can contact them on 0345 300 4278 (Mon to Fri 8am-8pm. Sat/Sun 8am-6pm).
