    I tried making a payment for a phone bill using my credit card, the payment didn’t go through and I had to use alternative means to pay it. When I called up the supplier, they had no record of the payment and couldn’t cancel it but advised me it wouldn’t leave my account as they hadn’t requested it.

    it’s been 7 days and it’s still showing as pending on my account even though the payment hasn’t gone through. How will I get this money back into my account?

    Pending payments drop off after 7 days. Has it been removed from pending now?

    @ChristopherP no it hasn’t, I tried making the payment last Tuesday around noon and it’s still showing on my statement. It definitely wasn’t received by O2 I called them to request a refund and they don’t have it on file at all saying they’ve not even requested the payment. Yet on my credit card balance it’s still stuck as pending

    @Zaib2105 Thanks for clarifying. If you call the Credit Card team, they'll look into this for you.

    You can reach them on 0345 300 4278 (Mon - Fri: 8am to 9pm, Sat - Sun: 8am - 6pm) and they'll be happy to help.

    To speak to one of my colleagues, please choose option 2 and enter your security details, then press 0. If you don't have any details to hand, just press 0 and you will then be passed through.
