Hello, I have just started internet banking.

Last week I paid my Tesco credit card direct from my new account. The money has been paid to the Tesco bank account referred to on my monthly statement. However, I've noticed today that the credit card reference I quoted on the payment is a previous Tesco credit card number, not my current number.

Can I assume that Tesco will work out that the payment needs to go to my current credit card, or do I need to talk to someone at Tesco credit card? And if I do need to talk to someone, do you know which telephone number I should phone?
