How long does it take for a pending transaction to disappear and be credited back?
I have a pending transaction with Amazon which is not going to be debited by them as they used the old credit card number and the payment didn’t go through so I paid it on my debit card
I was very surprised to even see this transaction as the old card details were stored on the Amazon account so it was rejected straight away by them and if it’s a old card number how does that even get debited to the new card number?

Pending transactions can remain on the account for up to 7 days before dropping off.

It sounds like your old card will be linked to your existing account, however it's best to update the details for future transactions to make sure they process properly.
