I’ve just realised my latest direct debit has not been taken and I’ve been charged a late payment fee.
I have not cancelled by direct debit, it’s showing as set up from my bank and in the Tesco Bank app to take the last statement balance.
I’ve raised a complaint but need this looked at asap as I’m on the middle of applying for a mortgage and I don’t want this showing as a missed payment on my credit file when it’s not my error.
Is there a way to live chat with someone rather than waiting for my complaint to be dealt with as I know this can take weeks.
