Closed credit card account payments

    Hello,

    I paid off my whole balance and closed my credit card a while ago. I have since been told (via post that a family member opened as I am abroad) that I am still being charged interest and late fees

    I cannot access the account to pay these fees as the account was closed but I keep getting post saying I need to pay and will keep getting charged.

    Is there a way to pay even though I am no longer a customer

    for context, I live abroad so cannot pay by post

    If you know the balance, you can make a Faster Payment from your UK bank account. You can find out the account details to make the payment to here.

    If you're making the payment from an international bank account, you can make the payment here -

    Hi,

    Thanks for your help.

    Can I ask will that mean the late payment fees and interest will stop? As I said I closed my account so had no idea I was still being charged and had no way of accessing.

    in addition to my below reply. I have just clicked the link and it says I must have online banking to pay by bank transfer.
    as mentioned previously, I am no longer a customer so cannot access online banking or the app.

    @Tom2802 If you're unable to make a transfer from your bank then please call the Credit Card team directly and they'll be able to help. They will also be able to look into your questions around late fees and interest.

    You can reach us from overseas on +44 1268 508 027 (Mon - Fri: 8am to 9pm, Sat - Sun: 8am - 6pm). We also accept calls from Skype if this is more convenient.
