I would like to receive alerts when my credit card is used (either by me, or someone else using my details fraudulently).


And I would like to continue to use Online Banking (at my desk in the security of my own home). I don’t want, and have no need for, financial apps on my phone.


However I am told there are only six options for alerts within Tesco Online Banking, none of which relates to the simple act of credit card use.


I have two current accounts (with other banks), which I manage online, and which will send me the alerts I want.


Can anyone recommend a credit card provider who will meet my requirements; that is, to be able to receive alerts for card activity within an Online Banking operation?

I have looked at this link (and the link embedded in the article) and can find no reference to my query, that is, “how can I set up an alert, within Online Banking, to notify me when my credit card is used?”


If you could show me how to do this I would be grateful.

@harveylogan We don't have an alert that notifies you when you've used your card, I'm afraid. You can find out what types of alerts you can receive here. Sorry for any disappointment this may cause you.
