@katielrayner Hey there, thanks for getting in touch!

I’m sorry you've had to contact us with regards to your payments to check.

If you’re looking at the app it will continue to show the minimum payment until the next statement is generated.

You can check your payments on the app or on line Tesco Bank - Credit Cards, Loans and Savings - Personal Finance

    I hope this helps 😊

@katielrayner Hi, I have also been caught up in this misleading statement or non status change on the app once a payment has been made. Unfortunately, due to certain mental health disorders I believe I may of paid over £200 more than I could afford and yet the app still states I owe. This is misleading, bordering on misconduct by deception. At least a loan shark tells you straight, duped by cash withdrawal, interest rates and now panic over over paying unaffordably stated owed payments even after paying almost 3 times the initial statement figure. I have other credit cards with apps and the longest you will wait to see an update is 6 hours, Tesco seem to lure you into panicking by not altering your online statement upon payment, this making me especially paranoid and over paying. At a financially unfortunate month. This needs to be addressed. The app as stated in the answer given to you does not update. It will show payments in and out, but with fees interest and uncertainty it is unfair on the consumer/customer and the responsibility of the creditor's/bankers to adjust reassure be transparent and compliant. Offering a service smaller financiers are able to build into the algorithm of Thier systems. Also only being able to buy some grace speak to a human between 8:00 and 16:00 seems inefficient service. I have been offered to transfer at 0%to and existing creditor. After this last month's billing and interest and lack of updates and clarity, It seems appealing unfortunately. I hope you fair well and are in future not left in bewilderment or anxiety due to thier opaque balance updates.

@wilkins82 Hey there, thanks for getting in touch.

It isn't our intention to mislead, so I'm so sorry to hear that we've given you that impression. When you log into the mobile app, the minimum payment information will always be displayed. It also states to check your transactions to see any payments you've made. Your statement will outline any interest that has been applied and the payment amount/due date.

I will pass your comments on as feedback. We are always looking to improve our services, so we appreciate you sharing your concerns with us. If you wish to discuss this in more detail, please call the Credit Card team directly.

    You can reach them on 0345 300 4278 (Mon - Fri: 8am to 9pm, Sat - Sun: 8am - 6pm) and they'll be happy to help.

To speak to one of my colleagues, please choose option 2 and enter your security details, then press 0. If you don't have any details to hand, just press 0 and you will then be passed through.

    Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
