ISA Declaration when transferring CTF to Junior ISA

Hi,I'm trying to set-up a Junior ISA to replace my son's CTF, as per this post.

The Junior ISA application form (which doesn't specifically mention CTFs, but the linked post above suggests I should treat the CTF as I would do a preceding Junior ISA that I will transfer to the new one) suggests that I have to open the Junior ISA first and will then be sent a form to transfer my son's old Junior ISA (or in his case CTF) into the new Junior ISA.

However, when I get to the ISA Declaration, it contains this item:

    * The child does not have a Child Trust Fund account

...which obviously currently is not true. I presume I'm supposed to accept the declaration on the basis that once the process has all completed he won't have a CTF - but it's not at all clear. Anyone else been through this?

@siwilkins Hey there, thanks for getting in touch!

That's correct! If you apply online, please choose the funding method as ‘Transfer from another ISA’ and we will send you a Transfer Authority Form (TAF). You should fill in the TAF with your existing Child Trust Fund details and then return it back to us at the following address:
Tesco Bank, PO Box 27017, Glasgow, G2 9FH

We will then request the transfer from your existing provider. These transfers can take up to 15 business days to complete and we will send you a letter once it's successfully moved over.

Please do not fund the Junior ISA before this transfer is complete and the Child Trust Fund is closed. I've attached a link below with some more information on how to complete the transfer.
