    Hello
This is to anyone & also Tesco Tech Team...I have an HP laptop and use Firefox / duckduckgo...never had an issue before but frustratingly cannot even get on to log in. I go on Tesco Bank, the page comes up click 'log in' & immediately I get 'access denied'....I have done everything...cleared cache, history, c ookies etc...even tried to change browser...I have been doing this since Thursday!! I ended up having to drive somewhere to use a freinds computer as my payment is now late ! I am at my wits end as to what it could be or what I have done ! I am not at all 'techie' so please use simple instructions....!
    Can anyone please advise ?

@Surfer01 - I think we'll be lucky if it's before the 6th. If you need to access your account try Micosoft's "Edge". Worked for me but I hate using it.

Thank goodness I finally checked here! This issue has been driving me crazy for three days now.
Tesco Bank and Insurance, access denied when trying to log in. Yes, Firefox Browser. No problem with Google Chrome or Edge, both of which I don't use, never have liked them.
Thank you Blunt56 for bringing this up.
No doubt someone has tried to "fix" something that has affected only Firefox.

You are not alone Coletta. There is another thread about this try to search for the "Access denied" thread started by Blunt56.
It's apparently a Firefox issue caused by Tesco.
I can only suggest downloading Google Chrome bowser to your laptop, that works on my Windows 10 laptop. Search Chrome for Tesco Bank and try logging in. It will hopefully work for you.

    @Blunt56
Started getting "Access Denied" on 3rd Jan - did get access on 2nd - using Firefox browser on Win10.
Like some other posts spent 3 days deleting cookies etc....
Very Frustrating to see the post here ...

It's the 6th of January now and still Firefox users cannot login. Sort it out Tesco/Barclays.

Apologies that this issue is still affecting a number of users. My colleagues are working on a resolution, and we hope to have it resolved as soon as possible. In the meantime, you can still access your account via our mobile app or an alternative web browser.

Thanks for your patience whilst we work on a fix for this.

I know it was last November, but could this "Your account has been transferred to Barclays" be part of he problem?
    i.e. it isn't Tesco's fault, but Barclays?
It really isn't acceptable not to be able a log in using a preferred browser. It shouldn't be necessary to install a different one to enable account(s) access.
I recently renewed my car insurance with Tesco and it's the same problem there. I can only access my documents using Chrome or Edge bowsers.
I'm tempted to cancel within the 14 days and use another insurer! That, unfortunately, would incur a £25 fee.
    😕

Despite the following error having first occurred on 1 JAN (having been OK on 31 DEC), it persists today, despite may posts thereon, and assurances that 'the team are working on it'
It only took one day for the error to arise, but it persists after 9 days despite a team 'working on it.'
    What is going on?

My apologies. It seems that the problem was with FF rather than Tesco.
When I looked previously, there was no FF update available, but with the new 134.0 update the Tesco site is working again
